Winter is great because in most areas clothing is layered. Covering the skin is a necessity for the cold weather. Now it's time for an honest assessment.
As soon as the weather breaks and the warm weather begins its time to think about spring. Take a look at the current situation. The skin may not be ready to be bare just yet. During the winter months, most people do not care for their skin the same way they do during the spring and summer months. Sometimes the skin can become very dry and dull which can become a challenge to bare elbows and knees. There are some things that are easy to do that won't cost a lot of money. Here are some ways to get ready for the spring:
- Spring and summer require showing some skin. Prepare the skin for its upcoming debut. Begin an exfoliating regiment along with moisturizing lotion. Take time to look at the skin in the daylight. Knees that are dry and hairy legs will not look great in shorts and tank tops. Hair and acne can also react to the changes in the weather. Humidity can cause them to become oily. Oily skin must be kept in check to not cause breakouts with the return of warmer weather.
- Check on the sandals and jewelry. Did they make it through last season? Take inventory of what is needed to help save money. Make a current list of outfits, shoes, and jewelry. Buy only the things that are actually needed to begin the spring season.
- Go through the warm weather wardrobe and try everything on. Whatever doesn't fit, give away or sell on eBay if it is still in good shape. Don't hold on to the clothes for weight gain or loss. Use the room to add new items to the spring wardrobe.
- Buying a swimsuit can be difficult. There are many to chose from. The important part is that the swimsuit fits and is flattering.
- Don't forget about the feet. If the cost of getting a pedicure is too expensive, most of the procedures can be duplicated at home. Don't forget to moisturize the feet with petroleum jelly. It's something that can be done overnight with a pair of socks.
Spring is a great time to begin to prepare the skin. Once everything is in place, it's time to start showing off the hard work. Preparing for spring skin is exciting. Summer is on the way.
